  1. A cool thing about Stumbleupon.com is the toolbar. You can download and customize the toolbar by putting in your interests. Then if you're looking for a cool new site about knitting (as an example), Stumbleupon will find one for you. You can also create an account and save your favorites.

  2. Either the web site is slow, or my computer is having issues. Either way, I found my patience wearing thin and didn't find anything that I thought was worth the wait. However, I have often found interesting items while searching for other things, so I am cool with the concept. That is actually how I found the video of the locust watching a Star Wars movie. Now THAT was worth the wait!

  3. Absolutely loved this website! In just a matter of moments I came across a list of unusual deaths; some very fascinating potato recipes, a true Star Wars geek performing his laser fight via youtube; artwork made from fruit and vegetables and an amazing picture of a man who escaped death by inches when his truck crashed near a huge cliff.

  4. This is a website to share. I also know where people get the list of things that get forwarde around the world via e-mail.

  5. I guess if I had a lot of time to kill it might be fun, but I'm not a big web surfer.
I did find a cool bread cone which you can stuff a nice sandwich.

  6. I am like Pat, I often look for one thing and get distracted by another and end up 7 steps from where I started, but it is often worth the trip! I am a bit adhd, so for me stumbleupon could offer hours of entertainment. Teachers often yell at kids for not staying on task when they are researching one thing and click around and end up somewhere else, and I often how much sympathy for those kids! Hard to resist a link that looks interesting, but in 40 minute classes, resist we must. :)

  7. I did have to snopes many of the things I read because I wasn't sure they were true, for example" "Afghanistan quarantines its only pig" and after a bit of research I found that it is true, they only one one little pig in a zoo!
